Adopt-a-highway

We're excited to announce that we've adopted an 8km stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway in Westman! By joining this provincial government initiative, we are now responsible for keeping that stretch of highway clean and clear of garbage and litter. Our stretch of highway begins at PR464 near Camp Hughes and goes for 8km to the east. We are responsible for litter pick up in both directions of the divided highway.

Protecting the environment is of the utmost importance to Compass Coach Lines. During our short existence, we've implemented many initiatives to minimize our carbon footprint and be as environmentally friendly as possible. These initiatives include our extensive recycling program that helps to ensure all recyclable materials are recycled and do not end up in the landfill. We are also very proud of our tree planting program, which is the only of it's kind in the industry. We will plant a tree every time one of our motor coaches  is on the road. We also have a reduced idling policy as well as fuel-efficient driving policies to reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gases.
